Güeyu Mar is the passion project of Abel Álvarez, born from his desire to reinvent the world of canned seafood. Inspired by his restaurant Güeyumar in Playa de Vega, Abel sought to bring a new and exciting approach to tinned foods, combining fine seafood with the art of chargrilling. Each seafood treasure is carefully selected and cooked over a blend of birch, beech, oak, and eucalyptus woods, creating a complex, smoky flavor profile that elevates the taste of the ocean.

Güeyu Mar’s process is entirely homemade, from grilling the seafood to canning it, ensuring every tin captures the essence of a gourmet experience.
