Red Boat Fish Sauce

Red Boat was born out of Cuong Pham’s continued frustration with the fish sauce he was able to purchase in American markets. In 2006, he set out on a mission to recreate the intensely fragrant and umami-laden sauce he remembered from his childhood in Saigon. The resulting product is of exception quality and continues to be produced in a traditional manner at a family-owned distillery on the island of Phu Quoc with only two ingredients: black anchovies and sea salt.
