La Brea Bakery
La Brea Bakery® offers a wide assortment of rustic bread ranging from baguettes and loaves to sandwich and dinner rolls. From the finest flour to the most wholesome grains, La Brea Bakery has been using only the highest quality ingredients to make beautiful bread since 1989. The bakery was founded by Chef Nancy Silverton in 1989, using an original sourdough starter that's still part of their process today.
Every loaf of La Brea Bakery bread takes at least 24 hours to make. They deliberately slow down the rise to let more complex textures and flavors develop, showcasing the quality of their ingredients and technique. From the beginning, La Brea's team has had a passion for good food. They're dedicated to sharing that with their family and their community.
