Gia Labriola represents a thoughtful, quality-driven counterpoint to the industrialized norm of Veneto sparkling wine. In contrast to the region’s standard practice—machine-harvested Glera, briefly aged and rushed through the Charmat method—Gia is made with intention, care, and time.

The cepage includes old vines of Bianchetta, Perrera, and Verdiso, native varieties that bring structure, aromatic nuance, and depth to the final wine. These grapes are hand-harvested to preserve quality, and the juice undergoes an extended vinification and aging process that spans a full 18 months—remarkably long for the category. This slower pace allows for a more layered development of flavor and texture, with time on lees adding savory dimension and natural balance.

The result is a sparkling wine that transcends expectations: crisp, complex, and authentically expressive of both grape and place. Gia Labriola proves that Prosecco, when crafted with integrity and patience, can be every bit as compelling as its more celebrated sparkling peers.
