Venturini Baldini

Venturini Baldini

Quattro Castella (RE), Italy

In 1976 the Venturini Baldini family started producing wine, already early on deciding to focus on organic viticulture. Today the estate is managed by the Prestia family who in 2015 relaunched the brand with the help of winemaker Carlo Ferrini. The 130 hectares estate sits in the hills of the Apennine and has 32 hectares of vineyards as well as lakes, forests and fields, all in a sustainable ecological environment. The hills provide an optimal climatic exposition for the vineyards. The winery was the first in the region and one of the first in Italy to convert to organic farming in the 80s. Since then they have been producing only certified organic wines, made from their own grapes. Being winemakers bears a great responsibility, towards earth and towards man. For Venturini Baldini, organic production has never been a fashion but instead a true belief, a sign of respect for the territory and the environment.
