The Slanted Door's Vegan Mushroom Tofu Pho Kit was created to fulfill the needs of the increasing amount of people turning towards a plant-based diet. They wanted to make a vegan pho that could stand up to the popular chicken and beef versions. This pho has a rich mushroom flavor and pairs texturally well with kale and tofu.  

Elevate your pho bowl by garnishing it with The Slanted Door's Hoisin Sauce and/or Fermented Chile Sauce to enhance the flavor to the next level!

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a small pot, bring water to a boil.

2. Take the pho bag and dip it into boiling water for a few seconds, to melt any fat from the bag. Pour the bag into a separate pot and bring it to a boil. 3. Add noodles and stir for about 10 seconds and drain well. Place into a serving bowl with kale. Pour hot pho over cooked noodles and kale. Garnish as desired with the accompanying accouterments.  

Ingredients: pho broth bag: vegan pho broth (dried shiitake, onion, ginger, daikon, carrots, garlic, rock candy, leeks, lemongrass, fresh shiitake, shallot oil, mushroom seasoning, star anise, cloves, black peppercorns, Chinese cinnamon, black cardamom, fennel seed, coriander seed), fried yuba, roasted trumpet, shiitake, beech mushrooms, shallot oil; rice noodles, crispy shallots, green onions/cilantro mixture, sliced jalapenos, kale, lime.
