Childhood friends Ashley Albert and Kevin Rodriguez set about reinventing the beloved but somehow perpetually plain box of matzo. Their version? A super-snappy, extra-sturdy, crazy-versatile cracker that goes with every single thing they've tried to put on it, from cinnamon sugar to everything bagel spice and of course—chocolate!
Their first trial batch sold out in a single day, so Ashley and Kevin moved out of their tiny commissary kitchen and into a larger Kosher bakery in Brooklyn to take their unleavened show on the road. These small-batch matzos are tough to find, especially so far from Brooklyn, so be sure to snag some while you can.
