Simurgh Bakery's Pistachio Baklava Roll is made with fresh filo dough. The dough is stretched out to paper thin layers, about 0.05mm, where 40 layers are used. Instead of being cut into pieces, they roll the layers to create variety in shape. A light syrup is used to sweetened the Baklava and it is stuffed with the finest pistachios imported from Gaziantep, Turkey. Each bite is crisp, melt-in-your-mouth, nutty and sweet. It can be eaten as a snack with tea or coffee or dessert.
Ingredients: Unbleached Enriched Flour, Pistachios (Antep), Cage-Free Eggs, Corn Starch, Clarified Butter, Sea Salt, Water, Syrup( Pure Cane Sugar, Water, Lemon).
