Simply Gum makes chewing gum from wild harvested tree sap: chicle, a tree sap found throughout Central and South America. Chicle is a biodegradable gum base, unlike the plastics used by many conventional gum brands, and Simply Gum lists all their ingredients on the label. All of their products are non-GMO verified and are manufactured in Brooklyn, NY, where they proudly provide jobs for members of the local community. Their goal is to better the planet by reducing plastic waste and to support chicle farming communities.
