SFRAW

SFRAW is a distinguished purveyor of high-quality, ethically produced, and genuinely natural foods and holistic products. They make and sell their own brand of expertly developed and locally-made prepared raw pet foods, treats, herbals, whole food supplements, and natural remedies. All of the products are made & packed by hand in SFRAW's own CDFA licensed & inspected facility located in the historic "Butchertown" neighborhood (part of Bayview adjacent to Bernal Heights & Potrero Hill) of San Francisco, CA. Founded in 1868, Butchertown was an industrial neighborhood that housed a myriad of slaughterhouses through to the closing of the last on in 1971. SFRAW was originally founded as a food buyer's group in a member's garage in 2003 with the goal to help animals, humans, and the environment by improving the health and wellness of all beings through nutrition and natural husbandry, with a primary focus on exceptional, ethical sourcing of animal-based foods for carnivores. After outgrowing their original garage location, SFRAW settled into a former seafood processor plant located in the most historically relevant area in San Francisco to serve up raw meats to beloved resident dogs (and kitties, too) throughout the Bay Area. SFRAW has an "open kitchen" environment where, after orientation, member shoppers can freely witness employees making and packing their foods right where at the shop. As a company, SFRAW continues to operate as a member-supported community for people that feed fresh food diets to their pets.

The meats, dairy, eggs, poultry and seafood used in their foods are thoughtfully ridiculously scrutinized and extremely well-sourced with some of the highest standards for animal husbandry, consideration for the well-being producers/workers and environmental impact. SFRAW Grinds & Formulas can be distinguished from other raw foods available in the marketplace because of the outstanding quality and integrity of every single ingredient used.
