Ume Plum Gift Box

A truly unique gift box from Yumé Boshi.    Ume plum is small sour Japanese plum that is hard to find in the US.  Yumé Boshi sources ume plums from California's Central Valley, and makes uniquely delicious pickles and jams.    

Each beautifully packed, hand-calligraphed, paper mache box contains:

- Umeboshi Pickle (4oz) --- Salty and tangy traditional Japanese plum pickle. Beautiful red color. A perfect condiment for steamed rice. Ingredients: ume plums, sea salt, red shiso leaves.

- Aka Umesu: Red Plum Vinegar (60 ml)--- Sprinkle on steamed vegetables or use in your dressings.  Ingredients: ume plum juice, sea salt, red shiso leaves

- Ume Plum Jam (6 fl oz) --- Tangy & punchy, a jam for grown ups.  Only three cases were made this year—special for the gift box.   Ingredients: ume plums, organic sugar

- Ume Plum and Peach Jam (6 fl oz) ---Tangy ume plum balanced by chunky peach.  Ingredients: ume plums, organic peaches, organic sugar

Descriptions of each item are hand-printed on rice paper.

This gift box, which is wrapped with jute twine, can be stored at room temperature.
