Also known as King Boletes, this meaty, sweet and nutty, wild-foraged mushroom is coming from the Rocky Mountains by foragers trusted by Connie at Wineforest.
Note: in order to inspect these mushrooms for worms (who love the flavor just as much as we do!), foragers will often cut into the caps to check for holes. There may still be some worms present, as they are largely unavoidable in wild-foraged porcini mushrooms.
