Up in Anderson Valley on scenic Highway 128 you will find the vineyards that provide the aromatic Gewürztraminer grapes for this wine. This wine was hand harvested, foot stomped, and cold soaked for 3 hours before being whole cluster pressed. This wine utilized native fermentation in neutral French oak barrels until "dry", not "bone dry" but certainly dry. The wine shows classic Gewurztraminer aromatics of tropical fruit, white floral notes, and ripe pear, with a balanced acidity to make it bright, crisp, and refreshing. Pair with your favorite curry or pineapple upside down cake.
