Handcrafted with maple sugar in small batches, this bacon is a personal favorite, not just because of the flavor but because it is sliced reasonably thick and retains some chew and texture after being crisped up in the skillet (cast iron, start it cold, flip once).

Prepare yourself for the wonder of our locally hand-made bacon now using 100% Duroc pork, also known as "red pig." This heritage breed originated in the U.S. in the 1800s. It is a cornerstone for charcuterie in niche markets from California to Spain. Our bacon is made with pork that is farmed humanely with outdoor access and vegetarian diets; no gestation crates, no antibiotics, no hormones, no growth promotants, and no animal byproduct feeds.

No Nitrated or Nitrites added except those naturally occurring in sea salt and celery powder.
