Seeti's Instant Pot Indian Butter Chicken Meal Kit is incredibly creamy and robust in flavor. Seeti's version is designed to be better-for-you as it contains less than half the amount of fat found in other recipes, with the option of omitting the cream in the recipe as well. Seeti recommends serving with rice, roti, or naan and garnishing with fresh onions.
Instant Pot - Use frozen or defrosted. Add 1/3 cup water, chicken, and then sauce. Do not stir! Seal and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes. Once done, rest for 10 minutes, then vent to release remaining pressure. Remove lid, add cream, and stir all together to incorporate well. Saute for 2-3 minutes to thicken sauce. Enjoy!
Stovetop - Defrost chicken. At home you need 1 tbsp butter. Saute chicken in butter for 2-3 minutes or till lightly golden. Add 1 cup (1 1/2 cups for family) hot water and sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, then simmer 2 minutes till chicken is cooked through. Remove lid, add cream, simmer for 3 minutes to thicken sauce. Enjoy!
