Immigrating to the Bay Area over 25 years ago, cofounders Shameela and Deepa were impressed with the diversity of the region and fell in love with the food scene. Inspired by enjoying various cultural meals at friends' homes and serving home-cooked food at their home, they set out to develop meal kits that could be easily prepared at home using the Instant Pot or on the stove. Choosing the Instant Pot was an easy decision - it produces consistent results with little supervision. Unlike other meal kits, Seeti's require no prep and no cooking skills, which makes it an ideal solution for those looking for a simple and quick meal. Other meal kits are bulky and still require 20-30 minutes to prepare, with cleanup time at the end. With Seeti's meal kits, cooking can be completed in just 5 minutes with little cleanup. In addition, the kits are vacuum sealed and can stay fresh in the freezer for up to three months, allowing flexibility on the user's schedule and leaving no pressure to cook the kit before it spoils. As Seeti continues to grow, they hope to expand their variety and provide sustainable local produce into their kits while continuing the sense of joy from a home cooked and flavorful meal.
