A household favorite, Penne Rigate gets its name from its furrowed ridges that increase the cut’s surface area and ability to hold sauce. Excellent prepared with Ilventos Arrabiata Sauce, kalamata olives, capers, generous crumbles of feta, and a squeeze of lemon. Cut with traditional bronze dies for a superior texture that increases surface area and holds sauce, Rummo's patented slow crafted Lenta Lavorazione® Method preserves all the qualities of the finest durum wheat and ensures your pasta remains al dente, even when finished in the pan or in your favorite baked dish. 

Recommended Preperation—Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the pasta for the recommended 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain thoroughly and rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Alternatively, and for a better result, drain the pasta a minute before and finish cooking in a pan together with sauce.
