Rancho Alena's Black Angus cattle range freely on over 1400 acres of grassland, chowing down on native grasses and hay. Their beef is grass fed and grain finished (with no corn) for 9 months on a proprietary blend of brewery mash mixed with cherries, prunes and apple pressings, then dry-aged for 30 days. This 70/30 Ground Beef includes cuts such as brisket, short ribs & tri-tip, resulting in a rich taste with the depth and flavor of a steak. It's as good for slow-cooked ragùs and bolognese as it is for burgers, meatloaf, shepherd's pie, and more. This 2 lb package is plenty for the whole family, or for leftovers to pack in work and school lunches the next day.
