Lunaria's Biodynamic Pinot Grigio has a unique pink to almost copper hue from being made in the traditional Italian “Ramato” style from the Friuli region where the wine is fermented on the pinkish-red Pinot Grigio grape skins for an extended period (longer than rosé) to produce the gorgeous color of this wine with intense aromatics, savory notes, and added texture. This wine has notes of citrus, peach, savory herbs, and white floral character. Pair with seafood based pasta or fresh cheeses.
Lunaria is a cooperative of thirty growers who have been practicing certified organic farming on over 800 acres since 2002 and Demeter Certified Biodynamic farming since 2005.
