Hop Stoopid Double IPA

Lagunitas Hop Stoopid Double IPA is a bold and hoppy beer. Utilizing a hop extract for bitterness, Lagunitas is able to add a nearly ludicrous amount of hops for flavor and aroma. You'll get over-the-top hop aromas on the nose of pine, cedar, lemon peel, and orange blossom. On the palate, an intense and bold hop bitterness is up front as well as flavors matching the aroma. The finish is malty, with notes of treacle, honey and light caramel to smooth out the bitterness. Pair with something a little sweet—teriyaki-glazed fish, al pastor pork, or a sweet-and-salty caramel ice cream.
