Les Pierres Plates is a biodynamically grown Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. "Les Pierres Plates" translates to "the flat stones," meaning the limestone-heavy soil in which its vines grow. It has assertive aromas of grapefruit and pear with hints of fresh herbs, lime flower, and stone. On the palate it's ripe with dried pear, citrus, herbs, a slight hint of smoke, and mineral flavors that are balanced by its acidity in the finish. Pairs well with roast chicken, or a goat cheese and spring veggie quiche.
