Elephant Heart Plum is a large, lavish plum with deep ruby flesh, sometimes called a "blood plum". Its rich, sweet flesh has hints of vanilla and tropical overtones with tart, crisp skin. Grown primarily in California, but with a Japanese heritage, its loyal fans await the Elephant Heart Plum's arrival in the late Summer year after year.
