Blossom Bluff Orchards
Since 1931, Blossom Bluff has been producing excellent fruit on their family farm in the heart of California's San Joaquin Valley, which is widely know to be one of the most fertile areas in the world. Over the past four generations, their farm has seen a lot of changes, but the quality of their fruit has remained consistent and outstanding. They are currently growing over 150 varieties of tree fruit on just under 80 acres, and they would love to share some of it with you.
Blossom Bluff's fruit is organically grown and much of it is certified by CCOF*. They harvest at peak maturity into bucket sized totes and sort, size, and pack all of it by hand. Because of this delicate care, they are able to achieve a level of quality that large corporate farms simply cannot compete with. A lot of love and hard work goes into everything they produce. Blossom Bluff grows fruit the way it used to be grown; try it out and taste the difference.
*Why is some of Blossom Bluff's fruit missing the "organic" certification in summer 2019 and 2020? A mix-up during the dormant season of 2018-19 (when trees are bare with no leaves, flowers, or fruit) caused a synthetic zinc-uptake spray to be mistakenly sprayed on about half of the stone fruit trees. While it was the dormant season and no fruit was growing to make contact with this spray, Blossom Bluff is dedicated to transparency and will not be labeling fruit from those trees organic until the summer of 2021. They stand by the quality and purity of their fruit, as well as the care they take in packing it. They hope that their loyal community will know that this quality remains unchanged and that they continue to use organic practices throughout their farm.
