One of Amalewe's most popular dishes, these Savory Vegan Pies are a double crusted pastry filled with vegetables and a creamy vegan sauce. Every bite is bursting with flavor. Eat on it's own or pair with Amawele's Roti or Cape Malay Rice.
Pre-heat oven at 380 degrees, place pie on baking tray, and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Ingredients: wheat flour, water, salt, shortening, organic mixed vegetables, mushrooms, onions, coconut milk, canola oil, curry powder mix (turmeric, garam, cayenne, thyme, curry powder), cornstarch.
