Inspired by the founder’s great grandmother, who owned and operated a health food store back in the 1920s and preached about the “power of the peel”, RIND believes in snacks that are both good for the body and the world. Their line of functional and sustainable whole fruit snacks are created with the purpose of boosting nutrition while decreasing waste. They source their premium fruits from multi-generation family farms throughout California’s Central Valley, procuring organic whenever possible. The fruits are then dried with pride in the U.S.A. RIND not only fights food waste, but has launched a program called Love is RIND to address nutrition insecurity among children in underserved communities. By constantly donating their snacks to children in school, they help to provide the nutrition they are lacking, furthering their mission of snacking better and doing better.
