Little Sesame
Little Sesame was born out of a passion for great food and sustainable practices, co-founded by chefs Nick Wiseman and Ronen Tenne, who first crossed paths on the fine dining scene in New York City. They opened their flagship restaurant in Washington, DC, in 2018, where they began spinning hummus that quickly became a local favorite. In 2022, they expanded their operations by opening their own factory just outside of DC, where they meticulously prepare each batch of hummus—soaking every chickpea, juicing every lemon, and crafting each batch to perfection.
Little Sesame's hummus stands out not just for its taste but for its commitment to quality and sustainability. Using 100% regeneratively farmed chickpeas, the hummus is crafted with a dedication to clean, simple ingredients. The product's Clean Label certification attests to its purity, being free from artificial preservatives and additives. Instead, it relies on rich tahini and freshly squeezed lemon juice to deliver its award-winning, smooth, and flavorful profile.
With a mission to make high-quality, flavorful food accessible, Little Sesame is proud to offer a hummus that is organic, non-GMO project verified, and kosher. From its origins in a bustling DC kitchen to a dedicated production facility, Little Sesame continues to push the boundaries of what hummus can be, making it a beloved choice for those who appreciate both taste and sustainability.
