La Tortilla Factory was founded in 1977 by Jose and Mary Tamayo and their five sons, who were ultimately drawn to the pristine beauty of Sonoma County, California. With them, they imported a delicious part of their Mexican heritage to Sonoma’s rolling hills—fresh corn and flour tortillas.
Today, La Tortilla Factory and the third generation of Tamayos remain committed to baking high quality, delicious tortillas that contribute to a nourishing (and busy) lifestyle.
