Hero was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves the freedom to enjoy the foods they love without negative health consequences. What began as one man’s search for a better way to eat has evolved into a movement redefining what’s possible in baked goods.

Founder Cole Glass, born with severe allergies to fruits, vegetables, and nuts, faced a lifelong struggle to maintain a balanced diet. After cutting out carbs in 2017, he discovered that nearly every low-carb alternative contained ingredients he couldn’t tolerate. Determined to find a solution, Cole turned his kitchen into a lab—baking over 100 muffins a day for two years, adjusting each recipe microgram by microgram until he achieved the impossible: a muffin that tasted just like the original but contained zero net carbs, no sugar, and less than half the calories.

Today, Hero’s team of “bread-heads” continues Cole’s mission, transforming classic baked goods into nutritionally balanced, flavorful versions that feel indulgent but fit modern wellness goals.
