GoNanas began at the University of Michigan, where neighbors and best friends Annie and Morgan bonded over a shared passion for health, food, and banana bread. Noticing a lack of baked goods that were both tasty and made with wholesome ingredients, they turned to their family recipes for inspiration. What followed was three years of hands-on recipe testing to create a “healthified” banana bread that didn’t compromise on flavor.

The result is a vegan banana bread mix made with simple, real ingredients that anyone can enjoy. Sustainability is a core part of the brand’s mission—GoNanas intentionally requires overripe bananas, helping rescue fruit that would otherwise go to waste and contributing to the reduction of food waste at home.

Beyond great baking, GoNanas is rooted in connection and joy. Their mixes are designed to be shared, gifted, and enjoyed together, creating meaningful moments in the kitchen. By building GoNanas, Annie and Morgan also hope to inspire others—especially young women—to pursue their passions, take creative risks, and build something they truly believe in.
