Edna’s was created by legendary bartender and hospitality veteran Nick Devine, who brings nearly 30 years of global experience in bars, restaurants, and beverage manufacturing.
The name “Edna” comes from Cockney rhyming slang for “beverage”—“Dame Edna Everage” rhyming with “beverage,” shortened to “Edna.” The founders, Nick and Nick, are both ex-pat Brits, making the name a subtle nod to their homeland, even though neither is a true Cockney. The vintage feel of the name resonated with them immediately, aligning perfectly with the nostalgic charm they envisioned for the brand.
