East Brother Beer Company is a two-family business, born of a friendship going back decades. Rob & Chris had talked about working together for years, but it wasn’t until Chris started turning out world-class lagers and ales on a small-batch system that it became clear this would be their shared passion. East Brother Beer strives to achieve sustainability via energy-saving initiatives such as LED lighting throughout the facility, waste-minimization via repurposing spent grain to local farmers, and ongoing waste-minimization process improvements (water, electricity, etc). Beer is Labor. With an emphasis on tradition, they brew classic styles of beer in Richmond California and instill pride and purpose in everything they do.
