Drakes has been crafting ales and lagers in a former car factory in San Leandro, CA since 1989. Founder Roger Lind built the brewery equipment out of used dairy equipment. The brewery has won countless awards, and has seen many of its alumni brewers go on to start other well-known and well-loved breweries. Drakes is still making fantastic beers in the same former factory they have called home for almost three decades.
