One of the Capay Valley’s most sublime agricultural products is olive oil. Not just any old vegetable oil, this is the extra virgin, highest quality oil available in the world. We here in the valley have been experiencing an olive boom in recent years with the addition of several new producers, a local mill and so many gold medal and Best in Class awards, it's no wonder this region is being recognized across the globe as a burgeoning olive oil hot spot. Because the valley has long been a front-runner in the local organic movement, most of our olive producers practice organic and/or sustainable growing practices. We have several varieties of oils to choose from, most of which originally hail from Spain, Italy and Greece, so there's no rush; take your time trying them all!
