Better Booch has its roots when Trey (co-owner) began brewing homemade kombucha for his sister who was diagnosed with cancer. He believed that the unique, time-tested healing properties of kombucha would help - and indeed, she had a successful recovery. They continued to brew with the goal of making theirs both delicious and nutritious, even working with a chef, microbiologist, and chemist to achieve this goal. Better Booch believes in the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. With their simple ingredients of just tea, water, sugar, symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast combined with patience and time, this defines their approach to health.
