Abbot's Butcher's Chick'n is plant-based and full of flavor. Made with pea protein, turmeric, celery seed, and sage, this Chick'n is extremely tender and mildly flavored. You will not find any added sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors in this meat alternative, but it does provide 14 grams of protein per serving. Treat this Chick'n just like its meat counterpart - marinate it, season it, or simply cook as is. Great for stir-fry, in tacos, or on pizza.
If frozen, defrost before cooking.
Skillet: With clean hands, break the Chick'n apart and place into a bowl. Add your favorite spices, seasonings or marinade. Warm a couple tablespoons of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the Chick'n and saute until thoroughly browned and warmed (165 F) throughout - about 12 to 14 minutes. You want a nice crisp on the Chick'n.
Oven: Preheat oven to 425 F. Place the Chick'n on a prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and your favorite seasonings. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes, or the Chick'n is slightly browned and cooked throughout. If using on a pizza or flatbread, combine the Chick'n with a little oil and seasonings, then top and bake until cooked throughout.
