Zuzu is founded by veterans of the sustainable food and cooking world - Greta Caruso is a co-founder of Good Eggs and Ali Schmidt is a Good Eggs alumna too. Zuzu is driven by the motto that less is more delicious. They find the best ingredients around, keep the recipe super simple and let the finished product speak for itself. Zuzu is made with 100% pure agave spirit, which is very similar to a blanco tequila in taste, but made from a variety of agave plants. With that as the base, they use only a handful of whole ingredients to finish the cocktail: sea salt, sparkling water, fresh citrus juice and a drop of agave syrup. Their beverages are purposefully crafted to contain low ABV and calories. They are designed to be the answer to bad hangovers, synthetic seltzers and cloying canned cocktails in the world.
