Upton's Natural's "Updog" Hotdog is made with classic seasonings such as yellow mustard seed and celery seed, but what really sets it apart is its algae-based coating and unique curing process. With 20 grams of protein per serving, this hotdog is a hearty and filling plant-based meat alternative to use in hotdog buns, stews, salads, fried rice, or on its own.
Keep refrigerated. Enjoy within 5 days of opening. From frozen, run package under water, or thaw in refrigerator 24 hours.
Don’t remove the casing—that’s where the magic happens!
Grill, or cook on stovetop (recommended) 5–6 minutes, turning occasionally, until heated through.
Steam 8–10 minutes.
Microwave (if you must) 25 seconds.
Boiling not recommended—you’ll lose the signature snap!
