Twin River Berries began as a partnership between two farmers with a shared vision for better berries and stronger farming communities. Paul Escoe planted his first organic blueberries in Hood River, Oregon in 2004, while thousands of miles away, Miguel Leonetti was building a leading blueberry operation in San Pedro, Argentina. Their complementary perspectives—Northwest farming roots and Southern Hemisphere expertise—laid the foundation for a truly global berry business.
What started as seasonal collaboration quickly evolved into a fully integrated operation designed to deliver consistent, high-quality berries year-round. By sourcing and packing fruit across multiple growing regions, Twin River ensured freshness, reliability, and traceability while building long-term relationships with growers who share their standards for quality and sustainability.
In 2014, Paul’s son Ben Escoe joined the company full-time, helping guide its next phase of growth. Under his leadership, Twin River expanded its berry offerings, established packing facilities in both the U.S. and Argentina, and grew its sourcing network to include Chile, Peru, and Mexico. Today, Twin River Berries is a vertically integrated leader known for exceptional fruit, responsible farming practices, and a mission that remains simple: delivering the best berries, every season.
