We'll provide you with everything you need to bake a peach cobbler at home! Just place the buttermilk biscuits we've made on top of the peach cobbler filling and bake it all in a dish of your choosing in your home oven. Our peach cobbler is delicious with vanilla ice cream!
Ingredients: Filling—peaches*, cane sugar*, lemon juice*, lemon zest*, cinnamon*, cornstarch*, salt. Biscuits—all-purpose flour*, cane sugar*, baking soda*, butter*, buttermilk*. *Organic Ingredients
Contains: wheat and milk.
1) Remove the peach filing from the freezer and place in the refrigerator the day before baking the cobbler. Leave the biscuits frozen until you bake them.
2) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Pour the peach filling into an oven-safe dish (a loaf pan or small baking dish should be the right size; if you've bought more than one kit, use an 8x8 baking dish).
3) Place biscuits straight from the freezer directly on top of the filling. Brush with cream or milk and sprinkle generously with granulated sugar. Note: if you skip this step, the biscuits will not brown appropriately!
4) Bake on a parchment-lined sheet pan for 30-40 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven until filling is bubbling and the biscuits are nicely browned. Allow to cool slightly and serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
