The Honest Bison

The Honest Bison's ranch is located in Cadott, Wisconsin. It's made up of numerous grazing pastures as well as adjacent processing and packaging facilities. The Honest Bison keeps track of their animals at every step of the process, ensuring that the quality and integrity of the meat is always kept to their high standards. They practice a method of ranching called Holistic Management, which promotes the growth of a large variety of native grasses that are in turn used to feed the animals. This not only enhances the flavor of the meat, it also eliminates the need for fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other chemically enhanced farming practices. The bison are free to roam in those pastures and are 100% grass-fed, with no grains, fillers, or hormones introduced into their diet. A nutritious, completely natural diet and plenty of room to range for the bison results in lean, healthy meat that's high in protein, iron, and healthy fatty acids.
