Sunnie was born on the feeling that a nutritious, well-balanced snack provides when eaten. Co-founders Katy Tucker and Lisette Howard, friends with a love for food, started Sunnie over a shared lament on over-processed, junky lunch and snack options for their children. What started as a joke about starting a clean label food brand became real as they partnered with Jill Castle, MS, RDN, a leading pediatric nutrition expert in the country in the development of their snacks. Their goal was to clearly abandon processing and additives, and use whole and real ingredients. With their organic, prepackaged snacks, Sunnie wants to help kids and “kids at heart” shine from the inside out while providing a viable, guiltless option for parents when feeding their children.
