Saint Benoit Creamery
Saint Benoît (French for Saint Benedict) founded several monastic communities across Europe. Through centuries - and their commitment to a region and its people, their knowledge of the local environment and their concern for the land they farmed - these communities have crafted some of the best artisan food products (cheeses, wines, preserves, etc.) in the world.
The founders of Saint Benoît Creamery, Benoît and David de Korsak, grew up in France and brought with them to California the concept of terroir, or food of a place, which reflects the character of the land from which it came.
