Soñar means "to dream" in Spanish, a name inspired by their team's mission to empower and nourish a nation of dreamers. Their founder, Maria, immigrated to the US from Mexico with her family as a five-year-old chasing the American dream. She worked with her family in the fields of the Central Valley as a young girl and was the first in her family to go to college. Now with children of her own, Maria and her husband Pete were inspired to take action. They've used their twenty-plus years in the food industry to launch an organic food brand to bridge cultural and health divides.
Soñar! offers the only USDA Organic certified grain-free tortilla chips on the marketplace, working to remove toxic herbicides and pesticides from the fields by supporting a clean supply chain. Their grain-free chips are nutrient dense, delivering plant-powered protein and fiber along with plenty of delicious seasoning. In addition, Soñar! donates 1% of its annual sales to the Latino Community Foundation, an organization dedicated to expanding the civic and economic power of Latinos by investing in leaders, youth, and changemakers working to create a more just and equitable future for all.
