Veronica Garza is the co-founder and president of Siete Family Foods, a company that grew from her own major health challenges. As a teenager, debilitating autoimmune conditions left her fatigued, depressed and overweight. Her family of seven (siete, of course!) rallied around her, exercising together in her parents' backyard and learning about ways that food can affect the body in positive or harmful ways.
Together, the Garza family adopted a low-inflammation, grain-free diet, and Veronica began making grain-free tortillas so they could still enjoy staples of their Mexican-American cuisine—tacos, fajitas, and more. Her company, Siete Family Foods, is a mission-driven company focused on making and sharing real food, gathering communities together, and advocating for healthier lifestyles among Latino families.
