Shone farm is a learning laboratory for the Santa Rosa Junior College's Agriculture.Natural Resources Department. Located 12 miles from the campus, between forestville and Windsor, this 365-acre outdoor learning laboratory provides students with invaluable hands-on experience in the field of agriculture. Shone Farm's Sustainable Agriculture Program gives students small business and technical skills needed to develop profitable, environmentally sound and community-based farm businesses. Shone runs a small CSA program and sells to a few small restaurants in Sonoma County as well as local distributor F.E.E.D. Sonoma.
