Jackfruit is native to Asia. It is recognizable for its spiky exterior and notable for its many stages of maturity, each of which yields a different texture and flavor. Our young, green Jackfruit has a texure similar to that of shredded meat and is available pre-seasoned and ready-to-eat. This seasoned Jackfruit has a little bit of chili and a hefty dose of lime. Enjoy it in tacos, fajitas, salads, nachos or over rice.
Pan Fry: Remove product from pouch, place in pan over medium heat with a small amount of oil (optional) and cook for 5-7 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. For finer shreds, break up in pan.
