Cherry Pie

Ripe, red cherries from Hidden Star Orchards in Linden, CA are baked in an all-butter crust with lemon juice and spices to bubbly perfection. The wide lattice top is beautiful and festive, while still providing the perfect (a.k.a. the maximum) amount of crispy, flaky crust. Three Babes does their best to hunt down every cherry pit, but do be careful in the event that one slips past.

Ingredients: crust (flour, butter, kosher salt, cane sugar, water, apple cider vinegar, cream), filling (cherries, cornstarch, kosher salt, cinnamon, almond extract, lemon juice).
