These hubbard-type squash has a distinctly chestnutty flavor that pairs well with alliums, bay leaves and bright sweetnesses like cranberries. The Red Kuri can be hard to skin raw, so it's best cooked with the skin on or cubed and roasted. When fully cooked, the skin is edible, just like a Delicata! It has a smooth, silky orange flesh.
