Cape Gooseberries (also known as Goldenberries, Husk Cherries, Ground Cherries or Physalis) are closely related to tomatillos, bred to have a sweeter flavor closer to that of a Strawberry or Pineapple. These are commonly used as a garnish or made into jams and pies.
