Schug Winery's Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a delicate and lively expression of the varietal. You'll notice aromas of Bing cherry, raspberry, and a slight hint of baking spice, which come across on the palate as well as toasted almond, espresso, cocoa, and some slight notes of bay leaf. This light-bodied and supple Pinot has moderate acidity, and pairs well with everything from baked fish to rich charcuterie, pork chops, carnitas tacos, and creamy pasta sauces.
Schug Winery was founded in 1979 by Walter and Gertrude Schug, German immigrants who both were raised with a winemaking background. Now in its second generation of family winemakers, Schug farms their vineyard sustainably and is proud to produce estate wines in the Sonoma Carneros AVA.Read more
